Wix Website Redesign for Boston Modern Staging

Boston Modern Staging & Design, a home staging, interior design and new construction firm in Boston, Massachusetts, wanted to rebrand their website and logo to portray a more neutral, modern and luxurious aesthetic. One of their main goals was to make the overall website more inclusive of the services they offer in addition to home staging, which includes interior design, new construction design and furniture rentals.

This website features:

  • Instagram Integration - Embedding the Instagram feed automates the process of displaying new posts in real time, allowing users to easily engage on the spot.

  • Downloadable Brochures - The Home Staging, Interior Design and Furniture Rentals pages each feature a PDF download so potential clients can save the information to share with their team members or reach out at a later time.

  • Process Details - Users can gain insight on the exact process used when working on an Interior Design project, displayed in an easy to visualize and engaging format.

  • Design Inquiry Form - A custom form allows users to submit all relevant project details so the Boston Modern team can provide detailed feedback and pricing estimates.

  • Dynamic Portfolios - Each portfolio is connected to a database in the website Content Manager so the Boston Modern staff, even with little to no web design experience, is able to easily manage the portfolio galleries and update / add new projects as needed without needing to reach out to a website designer whenever new content is available.

  • Blog - The blog features posts pertaining to their business and the home staging, real estate and interior design industry as a whole, which provides them content to re-purpose for social media as well as drives traffic back to the website, increasing their Google search rankings.

  • Unique Team Member Bios - Incorporating vivid imagery makes it easier for users to scroll down and read about each team member without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of text

  • Opportunities - The owner wanted a way to recruit for new employees, so by creating an Opportunities tab we were able to share job listings so potential candidates can get all of the details and submit their resumes.

  • Contact Form - Users can fill out the contact form to ask questions or share general information.

  • Email Subscriptions - A form in the website footer allows users to "subscribe" to receive email updates and newsletters from Boston Modern.

This screen recording shows how each Portfolio gallery connects to the Content Manager. All the Boston Modern team has to do is open up the collection to manage the content. Anything added to the collection will automatically display on the website. No website editing experience is necessary to be able to update their galleries.
