The Director of Plymouth House Nursery School in Framingham, Massachusetts wanted a fun, colorful website where parents and prospective parents could go to get information on the center, the school year, their curriculum and programs, registration, tuition, and have the ability to schedule a tour and easily download forms.
This website features:
Pop-up box - This alerts prospective parents that there are enrollment openings for the upcoming school year. Once the spots are full, we can change the messaging or remove the pop-up until it's needed again.
Virtual tour - If you scroll down the homepage, users can watch a video to get a sense of what the preschool looks like before scheduling an in-person tour.
Amazon Smile link - The school receives a percentage of any sales through their URL.. Users can easily access this link on the homepage.
Google map - This interactive map shows exactly where their center is located and users can click to get directions.
Faculty information - On the About page, a section was created using a repeater connected to a database to allow the Director to easily add, update or remove staff members as necessary without needing any design skills or having to go into the Editor and risk messing anything up! (see video below)
School calendar - Using Wix Events, a calendar was set up that can easily be updated to add information such as when the center is closed, fun events going on, reminders and more. Parents have the option to download a PDF version.
Contact form - Users can fill out the contact form or get center contact information and directions.
Downloadable forms - The Director wanted an easy way for parents to be able to visit one link and have access to all of the forms they may need. Using the Content Manager and dynamic pages, a database was set up where the Director can easily add / update or remove forms as necessary (see video below), and parents can visit this page to have immediate access to download whichever forms they need.

The website also features a link to their Facebook page, a button to "Request a Tour," which takes users to the contact page form, and is full of real photos from children at their school (with parent permission!).
