Wix has restructured all premium hosting plans, launching on June 5, 2023.
Over the years, Wix has grown the platforms capabilities to meet the rapidly changing needs of website owners, with advanced design features, tailored eCommerce, new and improved SEO tools and reporting, marketing solutions, social media integrations and other complex functionalities. To reflect these upgrades, Wix will offer a selection of all new restructured premium hosting plans as of June 5th, 2023.
As of now, existing plans won't be affected as long as auto-renewal is turned on and payment is successful.
The key changes are:
There will now only be 5 segmented Premium plans: Light, Core, Business, Business Elite and Enterprise. Each new plan has been rebuilt with clearly defined capabilities, making it easier for you and your clients to view and compare plans at a glance. There will be no separation between regular website plans and business / eCommerce plans.
All plans now include access to marketing tools that were previously part of the Ascend Premium plans, such as: lead-capture forms, social media marketing and automations. Users may send up to 200 emails a month for free, or can increase quota by purchasing a standalone email marketing plan.
For users needing custom web solutions or tailored eCommerce, Wix has created Business Elite, an entirely new plan built around a powerful new offering: Advanced Developer Platform. This set of products and capabilities is designed to enhance the resources and computing power of any site.

What if I already have a Wix premium hosting plan?
If you already have a Wix hosting plan, there is NOTHING YOU NEED TO DO! Your plan will continue to renew yearly (or monthly depending on your billing cycles), and nothing will be affected as long your plan successfully renews with each term. Be sure that your billing information is up to date so your plan successfully renews. If for any reason your plan is canceled, you will have to choose one of the new Wix hosting plans moving forward.
What if I'm launching a new website?
If you're launching a new website before June 5th, 2023 - all of the current Wix premium plans are available to you. If you're upgrading on or after June 5th, 2023, you will need to choose one of the new plans. If you do not need to accept payments - I recommend upgrading before June 5th, 2023 to take advantage of the Website Unlimited plan, which will no longer be available after the transition. If you do need to accept payments - there is no benefit for upgrading before or after as the pricing and available features will be the same.
